Bybel ("we", "our", "the App") is a daily Bible reading application. Your privacy matters to us. This policy explains what information we collect, how we use it, and the choices you have.

1. Information We Collect

a) Account Information (optional)

If you choose to sign in with Apple or Google, we receive:

• Email address

This information is stored by our secure authentication service to maintain your session. Signing in is entirely optional — you can use the core features of Bybel without an account.

b) Data Stored on Your Device

The following data is stored locally on your device only and is never transmitted to us or any third party:

This data is lost if you uninstall the App. Some settings may be synced to your account if you are signed in.

c) Subscription Information

If you subscribe to Bybel Pro, your subscription status, plan type, and expiry date are stored securely on our servers to manage your access to premium features. Payment is processed entirely by Apple or Google — we do not receive or store your payment card details.

d) Information We Do Not Collect

• We do not use analytics, crash reporting, or advertising SDKs.
• We do not track which chapters you read, how long you use the App, or your behaviour in any way.
• We do not collect your location, contacts, photos, or device identifiers.

2. Third-Party Services

The App communicates with the following external services during normal use:

3. How We Use Your Information

• Authenticate your session (if you sign in).
• Deliver daily Bible content and videos.
• Manage your subscription and premium access.
• Send a daily reminder notification (only if you opt in).

We do not sell, rent, or share your personal information with anyone.

4. Data Retention

• Account data — retained on our servers until you request deletion or delete your account.
• Local data — exists on your device only and is removed when you uninstall the App.

5. Your Rights

You have the right to:

• Use the App without an account — no personal data is collected in this case.
• Delete your account — contact us and we will remove your data from our servers.
• Opt out of notifications — toggle off daily reminders in Settings at any time.

6. Children's Privacy

Bybel does not knowingly collect personal information from children under 13. The App's content is suitable for all ages, and no account is required to use it. If you believe a child has provided us with personal data, please contact us so we can remove it.

7. Security

We use industry-standard security measures including HTTPS encryption and secure authentication protocols. However, no method of electronic transmission is 100% secure, and we cannot guarantee absolute security.

8. Changes to This Policy

We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time. Changes will be posted within the App and on our website with an updated effective date.
